The 14th season of Taaza Dandiya, an eagerly anticipated event during Shardiya Navratri, got off to a resplendent start at Kolkata's Netaji Indoor Stadium. The opening ceremony of this cultural extravaganza was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Chandrama Bhattacharya, the Minister of State for Finance, and Shashi Panja, theState Industries Minister, US Consul General Melinda Pavek. Both ministers wholeheartedly participated in the Dandiya Garba, a traditional Indian folk dance, setting the tone for the joyful festivities that followed. This was a clear reflection of the cultural significance and unity that Dandiya celebrations represent.
Several dignataries were present on stage and inaugurated Day 1 of the event.
